Default 2002 Hardtop Install On a 2004

I am a new owner of a Silverstone Metallic 2004. Will a 2002 hardtop fit my car? If it can be done what is needed for the install? The dealer I purchased the car from says all of the parts necessary are not included in the hardtop kit P/N: 06690-S2A-Kit-C. He tells me there are pieces required that come with the 2004 hardtop when purchased. Another Honda dealer says it can be done using the install kit with a 2002 hardtop that was previously on a 2002 model. Since I can save $1500.00 if the 2002 will fit, I need help from the Forum. Thanks, Helen

Helen, pm hardtopguy (screen name) he will be able to tell you anything you need to know about Hardtops and any OEM accessories. The Hardtop's didn't change (that I know of) so the 02 will work. Good Luck and welcome to the board

Most of the parts that are required: http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/home.php?cat=92

Instructions for install: http://www.leehondaparts.com/S2000.htm

Note: If you have all the 2002 parts from the 2002, including some trim pieces with brushes, you don't need anything else.
