I have about 11,000 miles on mine and the oil use has all but completely stopped. Up until about 10,000 miles it used about 2.5 quarts.

 

5100 miles - no track days - 2 autocrosses - a couple of crazy group drives and generally "spirited" driving. (this is not my daily driver)

2.8 quarts or so. From what I've read earlier - that seems about par for the course.

My '02 has 11,000 miles.
I drove very easy for the first 700 to 800 miles.
I never went above 5,500 RPMs until I had 650 miles on the car, and then just did it once.
At 850 miles I started VTECing often.
My dealer did the 1st oil change at 4,000 miles.
I did the 2nd oil change at 7,500 miles (and the last one of the season will be done this weekend).
From 7,500 miles to 11,000 miles I have driven hard on the streets, taken an 820-mile weekend drive and done one 300-mile driving school weekend at Watkins Glen. During those 3,500 miles I have added less than a quart of oil. In general I try to make sure the oil is at just about the top of the X's on the dipstick.
I use only Honda OEM Oil Filters and have been using 10W30 Pennzoil Regular (not synthetic) oil.

 

2500 miles & two track days. I have used 24 oz of oil to keep it topped off.

 

6900 Miles and added only 2 qts

 

My '02 has about 4800 miles and I've added almost 1 quart!
