Just got back from the Honda dealer who had a black with red on show. These are the latest cars just off the boat from Japan (I've been waiting impatiently for months). At the Dubai Car show a few months ago, they had on display a 2001 model (the old gunmetal silver with black interior) without any of the upgrades, which I told them was disgraceful. They said that the new 2002 cars expected in January would have the upgrades.

I am pleased to report that they do have the 2002 interior upgrades of the US cars, but the color combination of the display car was interesting given that the red interior of our cars are all black with ONLY the seats in red. Not the centre console, dash, door stuff, etc... of the US cars. Actually, I was begining to worry that I might not like the ALL red interior of the US cars. This new combo is not that bad.

For the anoraks out there who are interested, I shall endeavor to get some photos of the interior ASAP. I will also let you know about the Suzuka blues...

Depends on how much they give me trade on my 2000 Audi TT 225 Quattro Coupe.

BTW the price here is about $US 32K. Prices are more related to the price of the Yen/$ about 133 Yen to the Dollar, about 10% in the favor of the customer since the 2001 models. My TT cost me about $US 40K about 18-24 months ago. We shall see!
