Does anyone know if Honda is going to make the S2000 for 2002? I have heard rumors that 2001 is the last year. Thanks,

 

This has been covered many times and no one knows an answer to this question. Time will tell though.

I just got a call from my local Honda dealership and they say they have confirmed production of a 2002 S2K. I put my deposit down for a blue one even though they say they don't know colors yet.

 

Thanks for the update. The cost of the S2000 is going down too. A couple of dealers are asking MSRP for it now here in California.

I had a nice visit at the dealership where I purchased my S2000 today. Although they have pleaded with American Honda and the district office there are no details of 2002 production yet. They would really like to know since they are opening a much larger location in July. They added that they are in fact the last to know.
