I got to drive them both. I bought the MY04. I saw a Red 2003 today with a hardtop and the new 17" wheels.

I know everyone says 1K drop in redline, but the Honda shop manual says 9000 is redline, vs. 8200 in the MY04. So I do not get the crying and moaning over 800 rpm, which in this car come up in a fraction of a second.

Some of the track guys have indicated that the MY04 is quicker on both auto-x and tracks, and there is a controversy over a possible power increase on the MY04 - not sure what the bottom line will be, but there seems to be more evidence that ther car is significantly more powerful on dynos and the street than the 00-03.

Please do not flame me, just trying to give the guy full disclosure
