Have you tried looking in the Boston area?

Some of the lowest prices last winter were offered in that region.

I just picked one up last Saturday for $32k from a Cleveland suburb. The only "freebies" I got were 2 oil changes, free loaner, and they would pick up and deliver car for service (although, I don't think I will have some yahoo drive my car). Bottom line is, car is awesome. If you want one, don't worry about getting the absolute best price in the USA. Go for it!

How are they giving you a firm price? The dealers don't know the price of the 03 models yet. AHM never releases them this early. I assume that the price they are quoting is subject to any increase in MSRP, right?

Yes you are correct - dealers are quoting msrp for 20003. Saw one fellow got msrp pus both spoilers and a extended warranty ??

I think the price is about to drop like there is no tommorrow on the S2000- with other new cars coming out and the slow economy there is no way the dealers that have been so good to all the past owners will command a price as they once did.

I think it speaks very poorly of Honda to let their dealers rip off folks the way they have. The dealers really turn me off they way they try to still tell you Honda says - yea right.

Yes, but look at how long they have used the same body on the Prelude. From a manufacturers standpoint, I can't see them discontinuing something that is making them good money nor can I see them redesigning it until the market forces them to do so. This is just speculation on my part, but I'd place a bet on a redesign in 2005. Really, who knows? With the S2000, it's all just speculation until you see it.
