. BTW if you want "looks" get the Viper GTS and you'll have more attention than either of the above

good though)
Many magazine also comment that it's to a point that it will be hard to have a conversation
with your passenger at higher speed (top up, I believe).

So is the S2000 is perfect out of the box? or did you do some mods for the track?

Perfect? - that's a tough question .... nothing is perfect. Though, the S2000 'out of the box' is more perfect for some poeple than others. Where you fit in - who knows. For me it had too much grip at the front (or not enough at the back) but I was able to set it up to suit me with just an allignment and tyre pressures. S2000 allows for camber, caster and toe to be changed without any 'camber kits'. Is it perfect for me now? - I'd say it's close .... there's still room for it to be better in order to be 'perfect', but 99% of the time I don't have a complaint.
Also, you should probably switch to 'better' brake pads and 'better' brake fluid. Some people put on an X-brace or even stiffer front anti-roll bars. So it all depends on how you'll find it in the first place.

For those concerned about the reliability of revving to 9k, I suggest you look at the Integra Type-R's engine. It revs to 8500 all day long, and there has been nary a one that has failed simply because of high rpm usage.
As far as a perfect package out of the box, I'd stay pretty close to stock until my warranty runs out. By that time, you'll be looking for a new car anyway, and putting on a supercharger would make it feel totally different
Besides, by then, all the bugs will have been worked out of any power-adding system.
