Sorry to point out the obvious, but.. go out and buy yourself an S2000 now with a black interior, and get it painted Monte Carlo Blue for that "few grand extra." I'm sure you can find the paint code somewhere around this board and get a really nice job done for $2000-$3000. Why wait for '04?

Sorry it costs a bit more then 3000 bucks to repaint a car to factory specs. It took almost 150 man hours to tear my porsche down to the frame and then almost 5000 in paint supplies to finish the job.

My favorite color is that the golden/orange color that they make in japan, I had a shop spec the job of switching the colors and it was about 7000 or so with me stripping a good chunk of the car down.

As for the 2004, I will believe it when I see the quotes in video from a major honda guy. I just don;t believe that they would change the motor over, maybe a revised front and rear valace but nothing more then that, I will always use the NSX as a example.

Does that mean the S2000 is here to stay longer for several more years? They can't just redesign the S2000 for one year, ya know.

...any idea where we can read this, since you imply that it has already been released as public information? Or was this released as insider info only? In any case, just wondering where/who you get the information from. It's not like we're asking for the nuke codes for Russian ICBM's...

If they really gonna put a new engine in, they would have to change the name of the car too. I don't think it's gonna be a 2.0 liter engine anymore.
