I'm confused. Wouldn't new gearing to increase fuel mileage negate any benefit derived from changing the engine from 2.0L to 2.2L? What is the point? Is it just change for the sake of change?

I have a question and I hope I understood your info correctly. All they are doing in 2004 is changing the motor, gearing and dash pretty much correct? The body stays the same only a different bumper and bigger rims? The reason i ask this is I am going to be purchasing an s2000 and I really like certain body kits so I can pretty much use existing body kits and hoods on the 2004 right? I mean the body isn't changing right? The only thing i would have to worry about is engine parts since it will be a new block?

will the 2.2L drop right into older model S2Ks? Or is just just bore/stroke increase that old owners can change as well?

I was told they were going to add an integrated hard boot instead of the soft boot. Do you have any info on this?

The Honda Dealer here told me that was one of the major complaints and Honda was dealing with it on the '04. Whether he was BSing I do not know!
