And to add more clarity, you don't gave to move battery to add a turbo, but its common to do that as part of turbo effort.

Turbo adds tremendous underhood heat that nothing under hood was designed to handle. Causes all sorts of down the road issues. Batteries don't like crazy heat, plus turbo adds weight to front, so moving batt to rear balances things better even as it gets it outta heat.

Point being, if another car you're thinking about, if you see battery was never placed in trunk, doesn't rule out it was once turboed.
