2007 Honda s2000 blown engine STOCK
fight the dealer all you can, it's worth getting an attorney on this one.
Sounds like this dealer took in a pos, they knew it was a pos, and sold it "as-is" because of that. They did nothing to make sure the car was driveable or in relatively decent condition. My guess is that they didn't even change the oil, or even check the fluids. You drove the car off the lot with minimal oil in the engine, and quite possibly water in the sump. It finally gave up after 3 days of driving. Poor engine never had a chance. Fight the dealer bud.

So we tore the engine apart and checked the top '4 holes' based on this fact found on s2ki.com
----
If the engine failure is due to over revving, the top end would tend to get hurt - bent valves and such. But the bottom end may survive. It certainly won't develop the cylinder wall scuff problem from an over rev.
----
The top '4 holes' had no damage whatsoever to it. The only bad part was the bottom portion of the engine where the 'crank' is(by the (i'm assuming)flywheel where the screw would not 'turn'. Anyone care to shed some light?
Thanks

The oil is 2cm up on the dipstick? BTW the engine+Filer holds ~5.5 quarts, not 7. Or was the oil 2cm up on the hashmarks?
If it was 2cm up on the dipstick, then the dealer sold you a car with very little oil on it and that probably explains why it seized. The hard part would be proving that in court.
When I bought my car they gave me a 3 day warranty.. if it breaks within 3 days, you can return the car and get your money back. Sucks they didn't offer you the same.

I believe it's the 'head.' Pull the engine cover off and the 4 holes which dictate that the car is a '4 cylinder'. There is no damage in those 'holes' at all.
I can't believe an Acura dealer would screw you on a car 100miles and 3 days after purchase.
That is absolutely rediculous. I would get on the horn with Hondas 1-800# listed in the owners manual and get a file started.
