It's the CR all over again.

Give 'em an inch, they take a mile.

Anywho...the current S needs to be retired. It is eroding current owner's value.

I think it would be better to simply to kill the S line rather than go the CR on steroids route. I worry this move will support the downward trend of current owner value as in guilty by association.

Who cares. Enjoy the car, or sell it. It is not an investment. You people crack me up!

The S2000 is not aging like fine wine or cheese, but perhaps like cheese left out over night.

AP1>AP2>CR>AP?3?

Just in case the newbies didn't know, these rumors come up every year.

Anyone remember this little Gem? It had me running to the dealership in 2006 trying to get the last S2000

K series in a lightweight rwd platform? Genius. That motor can be modded for a reliable 300 rwhp.
Softer and cushier design? Good. Our real S2000's value will finally level off, and then start the very slow resale climbing trend as more and more high school kids wrap the remaining AP1 & 2's around trees.
For anyone that currently owns an s2000, this is good news. Quit crying, your car is about to be worth more.

I would love to see a lighter, smaller, cheaper, retro styled, K series powered roadster from Honda. I think this is a great step forward. They could have gone for a heavier, more expensive luxo barge instead. I say Kudos to Honda. If power is your main concern you shoulda bought a 350Z. uke:

Yeah, well. THAT one was an April Fools day joke, not an actual rumor.
