One thing that you all are not concidering is that maybe ChrisD has better tolerancing specs on his axle splines, in his rear, his transmission or better rigidity in his drive shaft. We use to cheat well in one class that I use to race in, now this was a long time ago, and it was a go carts...and I ahhhh...don't do sneeky things like this...mmm...anymore. Anyways, we would buy several parts and even engines, take them apart, mesure the tolerances and use the best fitting parts in our "racing" engine, which by the rules was still a stock engine (although this practice was forbiden). This gave us a tremendous advantage over the other guy for the most part. Now maybe someone would come around and he would have done up a toleranced engine too, or maybe his engine just fit together well and put better power right to the ground. It can happen. I have seen the goofiest things give better hp numbers and faster speeds. I have a sack full of racing stories and tricks. The fact is that I don't know ChrisD and I don't know much about Speed Craft. I have heard a lot about them...would I put my life on the line for either of them, probably not, but I give them benifit of the doubt. What do they have to gain by being false in their claims? Nothing. Could their Dyno be out of calibration? Someone did turn off some very important heat removal pumps at Three Mile Island, didn't they? Sure. Anything can happen, but let's keep this a happy board. I'm sure that most of us would get along with everyone out there with an S, we are all good people. Let's just havefun, go to the track, drive our asses off, tell each other "you suck," and drink beer at the end of the night over a hell of a Beer-B-Q party. I'll drink to that, CHEERS!!!

Yeah right... that's what the old men like to think they like to forget the fact that at some point that wine turns to vinegar.

Sev hasn't ever hesitated in putting up the paper to back up what he says. He's not in question here. Again, your friends S2000 is!
Anyway, your not going to come up with the paper so will leave it at that. Probally the best thing to do is to opt out of the dicussion. Especially since all this is speculation. Oh Wallzy, I don't give any business that benefit of the doubt when my money is on the line. I've heard talk of this company, but if they want to be part of the S 2000 community they need to step up and be a sponser. S 2000 owners are a little more critical of their performance accessories if you haven't noticed. We haven't heard anything from them. I don't know about you but some of us here like a little more background information before we're willing to try something new and improved.
Cheers
Jeff

Stop the bus. Sev dyno'ed at 210 rwhp bone stock at 6000 miles. Chris dyno'ed at 212 rwhp with stuff at 30000 miles. If one car bone stock produces 210 rwhp, why can't another car with mods do a little better? You seem to believe that Sev's car has dyno'ed at 210 rwhp. If a stock S2000 is capable of 210 rwhp then why is 212 rwhp with toys so unbelievable to you? I just don't get it.

Well if you don't get it I can't help you. Read what you posted in the thread above. I don't believe it and until I see the paper to back up the claim I'm not going to. Is that alright with you or do I need your permission?
What's so hard to understand about that?

Your argument is weak. Honda built a car where the norm seems to be right around 200rwhp on any given day. Probably 95% of all our cars will fall between 195 and 200. There are going to be a couple that fall outside of these bounds. Sev's got one. Looks like Chris has another.
I'm not attacking your disbelief. I'm attacking your argument. Your logic sucks.
I personally haven't seen a dyno sheet showing more than 202 rwhp. Sev has a sheet that shows 210 rwhp. All it takes is one car to break from the norm to make you realize that it is quite possible for an S2000 to dyno at 210 or even 212.
Sev's dyno alone proves that a stock S2000 can dyno 210 rwhp on any given day. You believe Sev's dyno sheet is true. Therefore you must also believe that any stock S2000 has the capability of rolling 210 rwhp on Sev's dyno. Otherwise, you must believe that Sev's dyno is also erroneous and far too optimistic because his car is stock even though he provided a dyno sheet that says 210.
If Sev's stock S2000 can dyno at 210 rwhp so can mine. It might not, but it sure is possible because I've got all the same hardware he does.

JRM,
First off ChrisD is not my friend (no offense to you Chris), I've never met him. He was just the first (after me) to purchase the Speedcraft Turbo kit so we have spoken repeatedly. I'll post his (ChrisD's) dyno sheet in the next day or so and to my knowledge Sev has never posted a dyno (could be wrong), why not disbelieve him ( no offense Sev)? When I post the dyno sheet... then what? Optimistic dyno... right? As for the turbo for my R1, it was a pre-fabricated set-up specifically for the R1 that did come from the UK. Can't remember what company but I don't believe that it was either of the ones that you mentioned.
