It's ChrisD so maybe he can help me out here since he's already chiming in. What kind of TB is that Chris?

It's a stock throttle body, Proflow rebored it.

What?
Who the hell said anything about a V-AFC? I thought we were talking about an intake and Proflow TB

Please allow me to restate my position:
212 RWHP seems very optimistic for an S2000 with only an intake and Proflow Throttle Body. Maybe the correction factors or something else on the dyno is out of calibration. That's all.

I have a Spoon Throttle Body and Comptech Airfilter and there ain't no 212 RWHP! If this comes from the same dyno that your car was tested on, it makes me even more skeptical of the outcome. Most, and I'll repeat most of the S 2000s here are putting out 195-200 RWHP. Even with less than optimal conditions. I'm sorry, but this would equate to over an 20 hp gain at the crank. No way! 205-208 maybe, but not 212 RWHP. Dyno your using sure sounds highly optimistic.

You guys are funny. You must travel around the country trying out different dynos or something. I wonder what you'll say when I crack 11's or hit the traps at around 120. Must be that Gainesville isn't a reputable track, huh? By the way, if you read, you'll see that it's a Proflow TB and JR Filter. If you're doubting my cars horsepower, I'll be glad to race you.

Like RT mentioned, you stated," 212 RWHP with a throttlebody and intake on your friends S 2000." I'm saying the dyno reading is highly optimistic and I really doubt it's accurate. Even under optimal conditions. Is this the same dyno you used? I'm curious as to what type of intake also? I don't believe that was mentioned. I'd still like to see the dyno sheets.

As far as racing you! I tell you what, I've got an old CB750R (Honda) Vintage Racer that will absolutely annilate you. I would hope that a turbocharged S 2000 would be faster than a stock one. If not than I'd say the builder was a complete incompetent.

I've got a boosted Yamaha R1, so what? Let's stay on topic here. First of all, count 9 posts (that's one less than 10) up from this one and you'll see where the owner of the car specifies what type of filter and TB. You're asking for dyno sheets which implies that you don't believe me. My dyno sheets have been posted numerous times (my car not ChrisD's) so what about them, are the manipulated or is it just our optimistic dyno? Maybe you would like to call Speedcraft at (904) 276-9720 and talk to Dwight (the mechanic who's doing the installation and dynoed the car) and ask him what kind of numbers he put down. He thought enough of the dyno run that he called me at home that evening to tell me. He has dynoed 4 S2000's that I know of and ChrisD's dynoed the highest with the exception of one with nitrous and mine with the turbo. Two of the other S2000's ran 13.7 in quarter mile with nothing other than a V-AFC one of which was mine which dynoed at 206 and the other belonged to another local guy who dynoed at 208. We were all surprised but my mechanic is one of the best (if not THE BEST) in the country and I would bet money that their dyno is accurate.
