Default 24,900 miles maint req?

I have 24,900 miles and my maint required light came on. Is this for a 25k check up? If so how much does the dealer normally charge for this.

The light comes on 6K after the last time it was reset. It will stay on for about 2-3 seconds upon startup. At 7K from the last reset, it stays on.

Your manual has the recommended service interval. 25K isn't one of them, however, it depends on the service schedule that you've done (or the person you bought it from if used.)

Unless you've got the maintenance records in your hands and know what's been done to the car, I'd check the owners manual and see what's recommended by Honda at the mileage that's closest to where you are now. I'd then get that done. If you wind up repeating some service, it won't hurt anything and you'll at least know that the car is being cared for properly from now on.
