Are 245/45/17's too big for the rear wheel wells, or for my 17x7 rims?

oh...hehe...i did not notice that, i dont know whats going on with my computer at work....it might fit, but its not recommended! 245 is plenty for the rear...the kumho in a 245 is 9.1 inches of contact and the S02 in a 225 is 8.4 or 8.6 inches of contact patch...thats a pretty good increase!
