250 hp S2k?
The factor I have always used is 1 PS = 0.9863201 hp
240 hp = 243.3287 PS
250 PS = 246.58 hp
But since temperature changes can easily give bigger swings than this with an S2000 it is hardly something to get excited about.

Barometric pressure ...
Break-in ...
License plates obstructing cooling ...
and perhaps a 1000 other random events.
I like cdelena's thread on how to lighten the car as opposed to how to boost hp.
Remember the Shelby 427 Cobra was about 700 lb lighter than the S2K in addition to having double the horsepower.
What a difference a half a million dollars makes when you go to buy a car!
