Quit worrying so much about peak horsepower... 240 is PLENTY... the Stook needs torque... badly.

The straight 6 would actually be pretty schweet... but ya... kinda Nismo.

The Integra Type R has 215/45ZR17 tires! Even the Civic Type R has 205/45ZR17 tires.....why come the S2000 is still running on wimpy 16 inch rims and tires?
First off, I don't think the US spec S2000 is made to directly compete with JDM cars, so your first paragraph means nothing for our cars (but it may spark a retune for JDM cars). Secondly, 17" wheels and tires are more for looks and handling then anything else, they add weight and slow a car down most of the time (they do have slightly better turn in if you're plus sizing), the S2000 needs no fancy 17" wheels to get the job done, and it handles better than any RSX or Civic Type whatever (R, S, G, O...take your pick) by virtue of its design. I agree that it would LOOK better, however, it would NOT perform as good. Civic, RSX=looks fast...S2000=is fast. Big difference.
