Nope. ~4500 miles on my '01 and no grinding. It *is* notchy going into 2nd when cold but loosens up slightly after warming.

No grind here......May want to check you clutch adjustment.

Note:Clutch pedal at rest should be 7.44 inches from the floor (the 45 degree floor not the floor parallel to the road) measured from the pedal face. Clutch pedal stroke from this rest position should be 4.53-4.92 inches.

1100 miles on my '01 with no 1-2 grind (yet - touch wood).
8000 miles on my '00 with no 1-2 grind.

But in both cases, the rattle exists.

2200 miles on 2001 and the third is notchy and had two grinds... but contrary to other experiences both of my grings were at low rpms... The cars in for the TSB fix.

I am from Maine and until the tranny warms its more notchy than a grind. After that its slick. The only clutch noise I hear is a bark when i engage after shifting. Its as if I dont let it out fast enough after shifting. But I do. The only thing left is to side step it seems after each shift. I wouldnt do that but its weird. Oh and when I let off the gas I have a very large amount of vibration almost a rattle coming from the exhaust. These things dont really bother me its just that I notice them. Just like when the top is down(only twice) its faster.

It takes higher ambient temperatures and hard running.. I am afraid that my gearbox that had the TSB work in October is still not in spec and will give me trouble this summer..

Just got back from 100+ mile trip at a constant 75
