Got the silver/salsa ~ 3 weeks ago. Picked her up in Cleveland and 3 days later had her in Corpus Christi--> 1700 miles. Had the s2k vteking on the 2nd day at 900 miles. Sorta feels like a delayed turbo boost. Way cool.
1st Commandment of VTEC--> Try and vtec at least once per day--> So far I havn't sinned.
Put her through her first auotx on week # 2. Fell a full 5 seconds behind a tricked out M Roadster [(SS),(1:42.+ vs 1:47.+) but then again I was on the stock SO's and he was on way wide R rubber. I'll narrow that gap before our next meeting.
The car really has an attitude. Over 6500 RMPs she growl like a wild beast!
The S2k roadster is a great ride in Corpus. 1st no traffic --2nd perpetual top down weather--3rd great autox and time trial venue within 15 minutes of the house..
The adventure continues.....

 

Do you ever get to use 4th, 5th and 6th? LOL

Corpus should be a great place for the s2k. How many are down there?

Are you up to a drive to Asheville for the s2kdays event? We are trying to set up a convoy from Texas.

Glad to hear you made the trip from Mentor, Oh to Corpus Christi safely. The weekend you picked up your car was not real bad but there was snow and it was cold! Thought about how you made out in the weather and all.

2kturkey 2nd gear is so much fun I rarely go any higher.
No really all seriousness aside I occasionally venture to the hill country for some romping on some of those fabulous twistys up north. This requires the upper range of the tranny other then that 2nd gear is a blast...
