Default 30k mile service

I called honda and they said it would be 400$.. Is their any way i can get around this? Im sure i can change the dif and trans fluid as well as motor oil.

Are the breaks hard to do? Also is the fluid going to be grossly expensive? Do i have to go through honda to get the fluid or is their a good brand you can pick up at the store or have shipped?

Also i hear that the stock break pads arent so great what would you guys recomend. The car will see the track 5 times max a year doing about 5-8 laps on a 1 mile track.

Is it worth 400 to have them do it?

what are they including in the $400?

not to mention you might not need new pads right now or anything dude... you should check them before going out and buying new ones..

Im not sure if the dif fluid or trans fluid has been changed i know for sure i want that changed as well as the oil. Pads could probably wait but i would like some better ones from what i have heard about the stock pads.

The guy on the phone just said dif fluid air filters oil and trans as well as an inspection. I know those inspections only cost 85$

is this car a dd? oem pads a far better than people think they are, plus going with any worthwhile aftermarket pads will force you to compromise between comfort, performance, etc., which sometimes isn't worth it on a dd that only sees five track days a year. a better solution would to buy a set of pads that only sees the track.

They will probably try to charge you over $200 for the 3 fluid changes. If you can do it yourself I def would, also you can get the pollen air filter, air filter, oil filter, transmission fluid, and brake pads for pretty cheap from http://www.handa-accessories.com/. If anything do the air filter and the pollen filter, will take you 5 mins and save you $$$
