Default 350z&s2000

Ok i need everybodys opinion. I sold my celica 2 months ago and still looking for another car. I narrow down my choices to 350z and s2000. Before i attempt to buy a car , i would like ask everybodys ideas about both of the cars

SO here are my plans

1) S2000- Thinking to buy 2000-02 silverstone with red interior - upgrade rims, exhaust, hardtop, suspension and maybe stereo, i am not into racing so i am not looking for turbo or supercharger sorry

2)350z- Thinking about super black color and dont know i can afford to buy anything else besides some nice volk racing sf challanges .

So please guys tell your opinions before i purchase . thanks in advance

I don't own either one, just a very big S2000 fan, but I would suggest the s2000. I've had experience with both cars, although i'm partial to high revving engines, the 350Z's V6 pulls pretty well. It is a very heavy car though.

It's all up to preference really. Test drive both and see which you like more.

You're asking for people to give you their opinions between a 350Z and an S2000...on an S2000 forum?

Welcome,

Please excuse everyone else. I like the S2000.

When you are done with your decision, maybe you can help me with mine? Should I get the Maybach 57 or 62?

1) Maybach 57 - a little lighter, shorter, don't need a driver, less money over all.

2) Maybach 62 - get a driver, relax in the back with champagne from my refridgerator and enjoy all the people asking dumb questions about which car I should buy on a forum.

- does this help you with your question?

The recommendation to go drive the two cars and decide on your own is the best. I hope you don't ask your friends which clothes you should wear each day, that's what these threads sound like when they are asked.

Oh, and in case you ask which color - purple - no one else has one that I know about...

Happy Holidays

s2000 is more hardcore, more sporty

350z is a better tourer and a better livable daily driver.

I have a s2000 that I use as a daily driver, a family member has a 350z touring model, 6-speed which they use as a daily driver. The s2000 feels more like a go-cart and is more fun to drive. the 350z always has power on tap and has a great exhaust. the s2000 feels more like a toy

I would rather have an s2000, obviously, but the 350z would be a close second.

Ask yourself what you want.

For me, in addition to the s2000 handling, and the vtec joy, I have a weakness for convertibles.

(2000) vs. (350) = 2000 > 350
(S curves) vs. (Z linear) = S > Z
(designed as roadster) vs. (modified to be convertible) = roadster > convertible

That's about as objective as I can get here.

If you're not into racing, you'd probably be happier with the Z.

Test drive it.

Don't bother asking for opinions if your down to a small selection of cars.

It really doesn't matter when you start driving the cars...

However... When I went to go see a 350Z at a Nissan dealership... I spent about five minutes trying to figure out how to get out of the car.

You can say it's great for kidnapping ;p
