Ferrari 360 has a 3.6L engine and it revs to 11K (2K more than the S2000). Not only that but it's a V8.

If you take it to an extreme, look at the F1 engines - they rev to 18K so we still have a fair way to go :-)

Thanks for the idea guys. I welded an extra cylinder bank onto the engine in my car, and made a 480 hp S4000! Check it out!

Honda never takes the easy way out, period.

Would anyone else in the world have even considered going against porsche with a 4?

Oops! I had no idea who the author of this fine photoshop image was. I shamelessly copied it a long time ago and thought it would be amusing to bring it up now. Post amended.

Truth of the matter, I'd prefer the little 2.6L 900HP V-8 that runs on alcohol that Honda's had out for quite some time now!

What do you think guys? I'll go for it..
I think you should just buy a firebird or a camero...or save up for a Corvette!! You obviously don't understand the philosophy behind the Honda S2000.

Those cars cost how much? Honda wasn't trying to make a complete world-class supercar in the S2000.

I still say... 2 more cylinders(inline 6), move the battery to the back, 360hp n.a., would be cool.

It would also be out of the price range of many, many buyers.
