pic seems to have been removed

sucks because I've been considering putting the 3M bra on my '05 Berlina - would love to see pics of the installed product.

I'll get some better pics up as soon as it stops raining here god darnit. I just got my 05 berlina and it's literally rained and been windy every day since. I've hardly done any top down driving and its killing me.

As far as the 3M on berlina goes....do it. I can hardly see it.

V9., that's an interesting comment about them needing to strip the wax off. I recently had my clear bra redone with the Xpel kit (didn't like the cut of the Invincishield kit) and was glad I waxed the car first, it made removing the old material 100 times easier according to the installer. The film was on for 3 year, didn't yellow and with the exception of the crappy seam lines on that particular kit the film held up well and looked great.

Once we removed the old film the paint looked PERFECT everywhere that the film coverd. The new install went well and looks much better than the old.

The Xpel kit is highly recommended.

Doesn't xpel use 3M scotchguard film?? Thats the same kit I have, the xpel kit. The correct installation procedure is to prep the paint by stripping the wax prior to installation of the film. The film then acts to protect your paint as the wax does so it doesn't matter. I also had waxed my entire car prior to installation.
