Sure thing Muz. I should've thought about vacuuming it more often.

Even without vacuuming, it's a great product and does what it was designed for.

Hi All,

With my MuzMat en route to The States, I decided to thoroughly 'clean' my rear window with the Meguiars System (cleaner/polish/spray) yesterday. While most of the smaller scratches were easily removed & the window is very clear now, there are still some deeper scratches that I can't seem to remove.

From this thread, it appears as though most people are using the Meguiars to remove scratches and Plexus for routine maintenance. Is there anything better than the Mequiars for removing the deeper scratches, or will repeated applications simply do the trick? Any other tips???

Thanks in advance!

I have been using the 3M system. The cleaner and polisher
work great, but do take a fair amount of rubbing to get
fully into the plastic. The end result is pretty amazing
though.

I do agree with the masking off the top. I have a small
area where I got some of the 3M polisher on the top strip
which I haven't been able to fully get off.

The 3M stuff wasn't very easy to find, but I am quite happy
with its results.

By the way, I have a Muz mat, but still get an occasional scratch or two. However, before I had the Muz mat, I was getting a LOT more scrathes. I'd definitely recommend investing in the Muz mat for you.

Hey Spryguy,

A Muz mat is an accesory that was designed by one of our board members (Murray aka Muz). He sells a mat that is cut to fit in the roof well. By putting his mat in the roof well, your window won't get scratched when it folds into the well. I use a Muz mat in conjunction with a soft terry towel on the outside of the window to prevent creasing.

You can go to the group buys forum to purchase a Muz mat.
