4.44 final gear vs. 4.77
I wouldn't be supprised if starting in second gear with the 4.77s was a piece of cake and that certainly would decrease the number of shifts in the 0-60 calculation. The first person with the 4.77s gets to tell us. I have on more than one occasion started in 3rd with the 4.44s and was actually underway before I realized oops wrong gear. Granted I have more low end torque than most by nature of the Mugen ECU but still food for thought..

xpander4, go with 4.77
No one except me has done something close to it.
Approximately on 6Krpm on my tach, stock would be on 5Krpm.
I honestly don't see much drawback except if you cruise 75+mph.
Bit noisy maybe alarming(I have S/C on 10psi pulley) but still I have done 6-7hour trip ex. Fall Colors without any problem.
And yes it may bother you at first but you quickly get adapt to it.
Try to be differenct. Take a chance!
Report back to us how incredible it is.

Can anyone tell me/calculate the MPH at which 5th gear will redline with 4.77s and 4.44s? 1randyC, thanks for the advice, I'm now leaning towards with 4.77s
Also if I plan to drop in a toda flywheel along with the FD, would it make first gear useless with the 4.77s and a flywheel. Would it be better to combine the lightweight flywheel with 4.44s or would the 4.77s gain even more of a city driving advantage with the flywheel?

Thanks for the input xviper and 1randyc.
I actually spoke with Yasu from ATS a few days regarding this upgrade and even he highly recommended the rear end swap.
Once we can get a few more people involved, we can get this group buy going.
