at the moment i have the comptech reinforced diff.

however, i did over 1000 launches on the stock diff on my first S2000, and i had over 500 launches on the stock diff on this one with no problems at all. if done properly, this car can take launching with no problem (assuming there is no manufacturer defect)
i;m going ti find out ...thanx , this should be fun

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I noticed that you mentioned 13 sec 1/4 mile times. What where your times stock, and times with the gears?

Thanks in advance

so far, best ET i have is a 13.6. my best ET before was a 13.7. however, comparatively....

I had a 2.0 60' on my stock 13.7 ET.

I had a 2.18 60' on my current 13.6 ET.

also my trap speeds have gone up from 101 to about 103.

I think, that once I get the launching down (had to re-learn launching since the gears change that), at 13.4 would be attainable.

also, i have found it is MUCH easier to bang out these 13.6-13.9 times. before, it'd have to be a cool day with decent track conditions to run those times. now, I can run those times on 90 degree days and 2.2 60' launches.

and that's just from a stop. from a roll, vs say another S2000, it's not even a contest.

Sorry to post a relatively off topic question but isn't the 4,44 FGR made a MAZDA a "hot" item anymore?? I thought it was a perfect drop in mod with considerable advantages in performance and very little downside in terms of noise, highway speeds and increased consumption I'm asking cause here in Greece we can get the gear form Mazda's stock at approximately $ 650 plus $100 for the necessary Honda diff bearing. Help please I'm desperately fond of this mod!!!

A friend of mine broke his axle launching at 6,500 rpm's. The waranty paid in full no questions asked. I know this off topic just wanted to share. Our diff is pretty darn strong.

Oh yeah, Love the vid!
