I cannot say I have any sympathy for you Alex.

Number one you have a new family, like me by the way. Forget about upgrading( or destroying) your car and start figuring out how to pay for your kids college. ( Talk about throwing away huge sums of money

Number two - when I was being ripped of by a Harley Davidson dealership I did not threaten them on a public board. I took along my most vicious looking friend with his shaved head ( although he is in fact a wimp) and asked very politely for my money back. Which was given at speed. Threatening jerkoffs with legal action and weird ominous threats never works and just will make you a laughing stock.

BTW your wife must have the patience of a saint

I just reread my post and it does seem a little harsh. Getting ripped off is absolutely infuriating. I really hope you get some of your money back. My advice still stands though

Take care

After reading this I can not help but comment. Hobbyholic you seem to have a personal thing going with about everyone that you come in contact with. You and race related, you and Wes, you and CJB, you and the Honda tech. Forgive me for sounding so blunt but the problem might be you and not everyone else. You are the root to every problem that has come about. I am sure that there is more than what you are telling. You seem like such the innocent by-standard. I am sorry but I do not buy into it. You treat people without respect and that is how others treat you in return. Just my advice and I am sure that you do not want to hear it but violence is not going to solve your problem. With that attitude you may end up in the same place James was (JAIL!!!) Just something to consider.

I only know what I read and if it is coming from Hobbyholic so far I have read about: guns, violence, lots of bragging and him bad mouthing others. I have been reading the forums for a long time and never had anything to say. I just read what other people were doing and took ideas into consideration. I have read the good and the bad about lots of business'. I choose to comment on this not because I know anyone involved but because I think that he has a lot of bad to things to say. I think that it is important that we think about the reliability of the source of information. I also would like to know if Hobbyholic made any changes to the work being performed on the car by any parties involved that would delay the project or change the cost, cause that is not mentioned.

Well I went with the best I knew of and that didn't work. I have a gun collection with a concealed weapons license and I work with the police time to time yet I have never shot anyone. I have a perfect record and never been in any kind of trouble why cant you people believe there is nothing to hide. And everyone that I know say if this would have happened to them they would have been in jail for taking personal action. My problem is that I do have the money to actually get things started it's just that the business never finish them. If you guys are trying to figure out through the internet what kind of person I am don't even try it. I do help people in the community's and car clubs.. Alex

Have you guys wondered why Mike Simon never posts in the site. It is because of the way some people come out and say things. He dislikes the way some people change things and accuse others. His path to racing and being the best S2000 engine builder wasn't a cake walk either he knows what I am going through that is why he is helping me....Alex
