You're throwing good money after bad if you're not having him put it back to stock.

Just buy a Porsche twin turbo and be done with it. At least you'll have a warranty that way.

Hobby,

I'll offer only this... Given the heartache and bad karma this is causing with your inner circle, I'm not sure that getting closure here is paramount.

You've got a lot of things going on in your life (which I can relate to, BTW), and you should seriously consider cutting your losses and dropping this project. I hate to advise someone like that, but a hobby is supposed to challenge you and ultimately reward you. What it's doing to you here is something I'd have a hard time defending even if it were work.

Just my opinion, hobby, but indeed your s2ki community is behind you here and I hope you can keep it all in perspective.

Gee, thanks for your insightful commentary.

Straight to the IGNORE list for you buddy.

Ok you probably can't see this but i'll post anyway. I said I felt bad for the guy cause he got screwed, but if he had done some homework before hand, I don't think he would be in this situation. First off there is no way of running 130 shot of NO2 with stock internals. If he had come to s2ki and did a simple search he would have found that. Also if he had done a little research into who was actually working on his car, then he might have saved alot of money there. All in all, I feel bad for anyone who gets screwed out of their money. Plain and simple. I would though like to hear chris' side of the story because we are only hearing half of it right now...

I don't think Chris wants to take this to the board. He has plenty of "ammo" he could reply with but he's keeping this between him and Alex, not the whole board.

That's probably wise to prevent it from becoming a full out war, but notice of some sort of resolution would be nice...for peace of mind.

I really wonder if somebody like Penske Racing or Ligenfelter worked on these cars would you see this kind of story? No, because a competent shop doesn't do this. If you go to a "race shop" and don't see a dyno, a lathe, a mill, and a lot of TIG equipment, run. They don't build motors or cars.

It is not appropriate to participate in a public forum after he has threatened me legally, physically, and to damage my car. There are many sides to any story.

I have always treated Alex well, and he apparently turned on me when he decided that I was trying to prevent people from buying his used manifold (not true.) He decided that I "f*cked [his] car up", about a week or two after we had settled everything. (After I had given him part of his money back)
