6th Gear, Redline........
I'm sure many of you have gone to this extreme edge of what the S2K has to offer...
When was the last time you did this?
And how long did it last? 10 seconds, 20...30?
Lol, it almost sounds like an orgasm...
What a metaphor...
The 6th gear redline of an S2K is equivalent to an amazing orgasm.
BTW...what's this I hear about it being safe to rev the S2K to 12,000-13,000 RPM (with a Spoon attachment)...
Have a good weekend everyone

In (in)famous 175mph Turbo Dave video clip the S2000 is running damn near the redline in 6th, I guess you need to ask yourself how long you would feel comfortable at those revs in any other gear, let alone 6th
I've only done 140 in my s2k (on my way to Phoenix), and I was nowhere near redline. So, are we talking the 175-mph neighborhood? Where would I be able to get the car going that fast (without risking a humungous speeding ticket)?

I've heard of a certain person
going 145 with the top up and from "what I hear" the car is pretty stable. Definately doesn't have that "all hell's breaking loose" feeling that some cars have at speed. That car slowly pulls more and more, but doesn't show any signs that it wants to stop. The car's stock. Of course, this is all "what I heard".

I went 150mph down the Interstate 5 in cali. I had my top up and I still had some RPM's left. Actually quite a bit, I was still pulling hard at 150. But it was completely dark and I decided it was safer to slow it down instead of maxing it out. It was so fast I felt like the road was just being eaten by the front my car like you wouldn't believe. I was at 150 for about 8-10 seconds.
