No, I don't believe he had any goodies on his vehicle at all to reach the inidcated 281kmh. What he did have was a very long DOWNHILL - check out the video - that freeway is far from straight and level. I'd also suggest he was achieving somewhere in the order of 6-7% speedo error.

For me at 248kph it was dead solid. But lowed as all hell breaking loose. Top up ofcourse.

oh man 6th gear redline?? i attempted it but after a LONG time with the pedal floored i gave up, i got up to 150mph and i ran out of room
