Prone to rust?
Drinks 1qt oil every 1k miles?

All new to me. Sure, some ap1's have issues with using oil. Yes, some as much as 1qt every 1k miles. But its news to me that its most of them, let alone most S2000's in general.

Rust? I thimk I've seen one photo of an S with any rust at all. That car had like 300k kiles on it and rust was limited to quarter panel to bumper intersection, due to gunk sitting under those black fender lip rubber liners for years. Never seen an S with undercarriage rust, other than typical surface rust on cars driven on salted roads.

Dealer cars are always perfect. Not in my experience...

 

The most interesting thing in that piece is the report that Bob Dylan is apparently in the s2k family. I'm gonna channel Bob next time I go out for a drive!

this is like one of those click bait articles.

 

Useless brochure. If you are seriously considering an S2000 you probably know all of these basic things already.
