Don't forget in Canada you get raped on car prices. And Canadians can't really come to the US to save money because they then get bent over on duty taxes, etc.

New, the cars sells for roughly 45000$US in Canada. So, do the math.

Still, OP, I'm sure you can do a little better.

Thanks for all the input guys. I will definitely be passing on this car. A board member here has offered an great condition 01 with 60,000KMs, AP2 bumper and a few other light mods for $17000. So I'm currently working on getting something worked out for that.

And yes.. we get absolutely screwed with car pricing up here. You can't just factor in an exchange rate and say "max i would pay is $12k in Canada" because S2000s for that price simply don't exist here.
