my gas blower is fine. There's never been any contamination from oil/exhaust. I'm not sure if you'll get sufficient power/velocity with an electric blower.

Buy a good blower, such as the Craftsman or Ecko. My 205mph Craftsman model cost me about $110 I think and it is a vacuum as well. Very happy that I got it.

Sime, I have an electric Toro (210 mph winds) that really works very well to dry the car. The only trick is not to get wrapped up trying to get every little drop of water off of the car, because in the summer, you will get water spots if you aren't careful. I usually blow most of the water of and finish with a BIG microfiber towel. This works very well.

Thanls for the heads up boiler! The other thing that worries me with an electric blower is electricity and water don't mix! But if it works, don't change I say! I have a 0.76 acre block, so I needed a gas blower ...... I didn't have a choice! Didn't want to buy a 300ft extension lead!

Imagine trying to roll that bad boy up!
