I'm another who says, learn how to drive the car properly. It's very good standard itself and whatever modifications you do to it ... Without proper driving techniques, it equates to zero.

Boy how things have changed here, and this guy is from CHICAGO too!

I agree with going to a good performance driving school, this is a must if you only have limited experience with rear wheel drive cars.

Invest the money you were going to do on mods into YOURSELF. Increase your skills. It will probably save your life someday.

If on the otherhand you are just into the "Mod Scene" keep your deposit on the RSX, you will be less frustrated.

AAAHHH better replies this time . I know what you guys mean about the driving school I've heard a lot about it on this board. FYI, I've been reading this board for the past 3months already. Anyways, I want to attend a driving school but does anyone know of one near Chicago? And also most of the mods I want are mostly for looks like the 6 spoke JDM wheels those are really nice. I will probably be getting a red s2k early in the summer, since it's the fastest color . On a side note, if gregstevens read this, I was wondering which shop you bought the spoiler and rims from and how much? Thanks for the replies guys!

I've been to one driving school put on by CGI motorsports (http://www.cgimotorsports.com/). They hold their schools at Gingerman raceway about 25 min north of Benton Harbon, MI. It takes about 2:30 hours to get there from Chicagoland. It's a one day school that costs about $150 (cheap!) I've also been to a two-day class put on by Track Time (http://www.tracktime.com/). It's a little more expensive ($650), but I'm not sure if they allow convertibles without a full roll cage. They have schools at Putnum Park (about 30 min south of Indy) and Road America in Wisconsin. I've never been to Road America, but I've heard it's a fast course and not the best for a beginner. I really enjoyed both Putnam Park and Gingerman, but am planning on attending more schools next summer from CGI since they have a really good price and are pretty cool people.
