Default Advice for a Newbie...05 or 06?

After my decisive test drive vs. the Boxster, I got my financing in order and went back to the Honda dealer...

only to discover the 2005 Silverstone with red/black interior was sold and there were none in the state.

With 2006's coming, I am being told none are on the way either...

So, I can get an 05 Silverstone with blk int. now which is fine with me, but should I wait for the 06's?

05...
better pricing leverage
faster delivery
quicker depreciation after new year

06...
less pricing leverage (also possible price increase?)
delivery in Nov.
better depreciation
stability control (good or bad? - adds weight?)
better headrests?

Anything I am missing?
Advice?
Thoughts?

Thanks.

No price leverage on 05,if they're not availables!

If you buy a 06, please change those rims.

^^^^ My thoughts exactly. I don't care for some of the changes in the O6. Either get an 2005, or find an 02 with really low miles so you at least get the glass rear window.

I bought (oops, leased) my '05 last week. There are deals to be had on the '05s. Don't know how flexible the pricing will be for the '06s. If you found the car (color combo) that you were looking for, I'd say make a deal that you're happy with and take her home! I did.

i had the same decision to make. i brought my 05 home today. paid 30g because of pricing leverage. i had intended to wait for 06 but the price was good and i got my color.

After reviewing the 06 changes, I think I'll go with the 05 - better looking wheels and I have never liked DBW.

VSA might save my a** on occasion but I'll chance it.

Headrests might be better and roll hoop speakers might sound good, but not enough to sway me to go with the 06.
