Any difference between the two will not be large enough to notice.

I've had my v2 for about 2 months now. Not sure if I gained any power, but I love how it sounds.

so theres not much of a difference on mid range and top end power range? so the extra $20.00 is for worth it for the v2?

The V2 has protection against sucking in water? I think maybe

No, the only thing that is suppose to prevent sucking water is the bypass valve, which ive heard does not fit on the V2 and that it does not work anyway. I have the V1 and I love it, it usually picks up anywhere from 4-6hp. But be careful, dont lert anyone tell you that hydrolock wont happen, because I recently got it. But I fixed it myself so all is well. I would get the V1 just because its the cheaper one, there is not really much differance as far as hp gains go.

I've heard people claiming they felt an increase in throttle-response and midrange power after switching from a V1 to a V2. The V2 now comes with that Dry-Flow filter which is a pretty neat idea IMO.
