Default aem v2

I am having one problem with my AEM V2 intake. I have had this happen twice and no real damage has resulted as of now but thought some one might know how to fix this or if it is installed wronge. When my S is parked out in a bad rainstorm water has been getting into the filter and filling the end of the pipe with water.

My Question is, is the intake supose to be angled upward a small degree so that it will hold water and if it is can I dill a small hole in the elbo to drain the water so that it does not stay in there. Also any one else have this problem.

You've been around here long enough to have seen all threads about plugging up the drain hole under the hood along the side fender ledge. Also, lots have been discussed about making an "umbrella" for the filter. Check out the stickies at the top of UTH.

Thanks for the info I did do a search the first time it happened and pluged the hole with electrical tape but it happened again. Sorry I should have searched again, I will try the umbrella idea and if that don't work i guess i will buy a different type of intake.

Thanks, Nick
