I can understand when people say they don't enjoy the look for performance or practicality reasons but how can you say that it "looks so bad"?
When artists draw concept cars, they draw them with no ground clearance and large wheels that are close to the fenders. It looks great and gets people excited for the cars to come out, then when the real deal is brought out with 16's and a "functional" ride height, everyone starts bitching about how ugly it looks.

Are you saying the goal is to get the car to look like a cartoon? God... I can't wait until the "Penny Racer" fad hits. People will be cutting 2 feet out of the middle of their cars and welding them back together.
