completely personal, preference. I like SOME amount of low offsets but when the wheel has a 45 degree angle (<somewhat exxagerated) its just ugly, but not really rice IMO

theres a fine line with rice and jdm style! rice is wings body kits non oem tail lights/headlights etc...BUT LOW OFFSET wheels are the big deal in jdm land and very very popluar now, maybe not with older folk or people on here but take a trip to cali where honda tuning came from and all you see is super jdm ride with zero offset wheels every where. Its NOT RICE BRO
First, there is rice in Japan.
Second, Honda tuning did not come from Cali.

Depends on how you like it? I have +20MM gramlights that I will use for a nice look. I have Ap2v1's though with an alignment when I am going to go to a track for performance driving, two sets, two reasons that is that way to go.

the definition of rice is fashion over function

so yes it is rice

and it looks like shit, imo. very unflattering to the s2000's bodylines, having the wheels stick out 4 inches. makes them look like slot cars

Owned.

Seriously do you think California does EVERYTHING that they do in Japan?
You've got to be kidding me, I can promise you that the low offset look isn't very big in Japan, wanna know why? Because they actually USE their cars for the track.
They don't hard park everywhere like we do here in the states.

This is by far the dumbest trend to take place in the car scene as of yet. I loathe it, and CANNOT WAIT for it to die.

For the record, I'm talking about the whole hellaflush poke stretched tires imbecilic child look that people are going for these days. Not necessarily "aggressive offset wheels." Plenty of functional race cars use aggressive offsets to their advantage.
