Owned.

Seriously do you think California does EVERYTHING that they do in Japan?
You've got to be kidding me, I can promise you that the low offset look isn't very big in Japan, wanna know why? Because they actually USE their cars for the track.
They don't hard park everywhere like we do here in the states.
huh? I got owned or woodburn got owned?

rice is not this or that mod, it's a mindset and lifestyle.

I'd love to see a handling comparison between stretched setup and a "normal" setup.

They're made to look cool for magazine up close wheel shots, but I'm not sure about a daily driver.

agressive offset with a full meaty tire(like 17x9 +35 with a 255)=amazing
18x10 +25 with a 205 hellaflush=yuck

IMHO (and thats all any of us can really say):

Comsetic enhancement that is not tacky/ overdone and does not hurt performance = Cool

Performance enhancement = Cool

Doing both on the same car = Cool

non-tacky cosmetic enhancement that hurts performance on a economy or luxury car = Cool

Cosmetic enhancement that hurts performance on a sports car = Fail

So, with this in mind, a small stretch on low offset wheels that poke put a little but not overdone on a luxury car such as a lexus, is cool (emphasis not overdone) i.e small poke with 245's on a 9 or maybe 9.5 in wheel is cool... huge poke huge camber and 215's on a 9in wheel is RICE

Also any sort of hellaflush look on an S, or any other sports car is just RICE... if all you want to do is look pretty don't buy a sports car, you can look pretty and be way more comfortable in a lexus, or MB, or something like that

So i guess my real answer is "it depends"

If you want to make your sports car have the traction of a Kia Rio, go nuts.

But then again, I think an S2000 with 500 pounds of stereo equipment and PS3 in the visors is equally craptastic.
