Default AH- front end road damage

I just gave my car the first TRUE washing and waxing since winter just ended in CO here, and noticed that my front end under my license plate is all pock-marked due to sand and what not. Anyone know how much to get this fixed?

Also, my friend just got a 350Z, and it comes with this clear plastic coating (not clearcoat, on top of) that covers just his front end to keep it from getting all chipped up. Anyone know where I could get that done, and how much it would cost? Thanks

I looked into those plastic coatings when I first bought the S. There are several sources for patterns but most companies were offering the same 3M tape. But the cost was so high ($500-ish) for just the tape kit I figured I'd just save up for a re-paint job later in life.

Paint chips from daily driving is fact of life. I have accepted this many moons ago.

I have no issue of repainting fiberglass bumpers but repainting metal parts (i.e. hood) that I'm concerned.
