Default Maintenance Indicator Light

Hi all,

I was driving home last night and the Maintenance Required light started to blink. Actually, it did it for about 5 sec and then it stopped. I have 6000 miles and I have already gotten my oil change. Do I have to reset the indicator like every other Honda/Acuras? Thanks.

Yes. Same thing happened to me about a month ago. To make matters worse, I was on my way home from an AutoX and I thought I had hurt the car. If you read through the manual, it tells you how to reset it yourself. Have not had any problems since.

It's a reminder only - sorta like an egg timer. I follow my own schedule and just reset that thing whenever it comes on. No biggie.

I think's it's telling you the 7,500 service is coming up. It always blinks at first but will end up staying lit all the time soon after.

Do a search and you'll find the info to reset it.

If you have the manual, I think it tells you how to reset it. I need to do that to mine also. 7651 miles...
