The last 3 weeks I changed my diff oil (LE 607), last week was the tranny's turn (Redline MTL) and today the engine recieved its fresh oil supply (Amsoil 10-30 ... turbo formulated natrually...lol) and the Honda PCX filter. Not really a big deal but in my professional work, often times progress is slow and measured in subtle increments, so completing oil changes etc. gives me a sense of accomplishment that I can easily measure and enjoy doing. I am by no means mechanically inclined but I have good theoretical knowledge so I work within my limits. Its good to know one's limits....(didnt Clint Eastwood say that in a movie??). My hat is off to RR, Xviper and the rest of you who have provided me with insight into areas of personal interest.
Happy Motoring......

Here's to no limits - man can achieve anything he sets his mind to.
Nothing like working on your own car. You have essentially the same fluids as I, and I am satisfied with my mechanical mods for now.

A bit of more info.... after inspecting drain plug, since last oil change 4,000 mi. and 6 mos. ago, the drain plug was immaculate. No particulate matter, metal shavings etc. etc. was observed. The crush washer was previously torqued to factory specs and was in good shape... but was replaced since I had several others.
