Ok, please bear with me and my ignorance about this...

I just bought a new steering wheel from Rick's (looks great, BTW). I have installed it myself using the Helm's manual, and everything went together perfectly. Buttoned everything back up, and now when my car is driving straight my steering wheel looks to be at about 1:00 (cocked to the right about 10 degrees... grrr - I thought I was so careful about making sure my wheels were pointing straight, etc., but somehow I screwed it up.) So here's my question -

Can you drive without the driver's side airbag attached? I just want to drive it about 100 feet down my street to make sure everything is straight before i re-attach everything again. Just wasn't sure how the system works - I would hate for the passenger's airbag to deploy because of the missing driver's side bag...

Just don't want to have to do this thing a third time because I over-corrected my error...

ha ha not a big deal not a mechanical problem.
u just gotta center the steering wheel again......
that happened to me when i installed TRD steering wheel on my previous car CELICA
1. first of all steer ur wheel to the center( straight) just have somebody look at ur wheel outside if they are point straight
2. once ur wheel is straighten up, place ur steering wheel and put all the bolts on and everythin
3. should be fine........ u can drive around without ur AIRbag but since u will disconnect the wire for the air bag the air bag light will come on.....

but u never know what is going to happen to you so i would say just trying to avoid driving without an air bag.
