air horn
A friend from the U.S. visited me recently. I took him for a hair-raising-above 6.000 rpm ride in my S2000, of course. At one point I mentioned how embarrassing the stock horn is on the car. It was just mentioned in passing, but he has sent me an air horn (2 horns) to install.
Anyone have an idea as to where the best place is to drill a hole to install these things? The brand is FIAMM, model EFT/2 which includes two horns (not very large) and a compressor.

I'm sure there are install instructions on S2Ki.com. Also do a search for this topic as the board also contains instructions and photos from various owners who have done this.
Here's a couple for starters

You don't need to drill a hole.
I bought the Fiamm horns pictured in this page:
https://www.s2ki.com/faqs/faq_airhorn.php
I too installed the two horns at the same locations as in the picture. But be advised, the lower, longer horn is exposed from the element. You can actually see the lower horn through the radiator intake.
My compressor was installed under the right headlight housing. If you look at the picture in the link, you'll see that there are "stuff" under the left headlight housing right behind the fake brake ducts. But on the right side, the space is empty and there is an empty mounting hole (you can't see it in the picture) near the frame, where you can mount the compressor safely away from everything else. The supplied hose was long enough to connect the horns to the compressor.
The lead hot wire for the horn is inside the plastic insulator that is right in front of the airbox. You need to first cut the stock horn connector at the end of this wire. Then pull the wire out of the insulator (be careful when you do this, there are several other wires in there).
The wire is not long enough to reach the compressor, so you are going to have to crimp another wire to the factory wire. I used a twist on waterproof wire connector, from a hardware store. It has silicone sealer inside to stop moisture intrusion. This was just an extra precaution and not really necessary.
I then routed the hot wire through the same holes used by the headlights and connected it to the compressor. My ground was attached to the same stack of ground terminals shown in the picture. You then should cover all your wirings with wire insulator, and secure them onto the frame or another wire leads with a zip tie.
Lastly you need to switch out a 10A fuse labeled "stop" from the right fuse box with a 20A one. Test your horn now before replacing the bumper cover. It should work fine though.
Good luck

Jim,
You're going to love those horns.
Here is a thread by Greg Stevens and some good pictures of his install.

Don't forget to paint them black before installing. That's what Mingster and I did with ours.
