G'Day from Oz, I am new to the forum and am wondering if somebody could tell me some information regarding the S2K 2000 model.
Specifically I am wondering whether this model comes with a factory immobiliser and alarm, or just an immobiliser.

In the US it has the immobilizer standard in all years, alarm is an option for all years.

 

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do you know which is which? I have a key fob with 4 buttons ( lock, unlock, trunk and panic). If I press the panic button the horn starts beeping like any other alarm. With the top down I can reach in and unlock the door and open the door and nothing happens. Does anyone know of a way to test to see which you have?

 

you just have keyless entry with a panic button
