Alignment
After reading a few posts about alignments, I am beginning to se a pattern. People who have done "alternative" alignments tend to leave the caster alone and add:
- more negative camber front and rear
- less toe in rear
- more toe in front
This would seem to be a formula for dialing in understeer. Does this sound right? I am getting new tires soon and will have an alignment done at the same time.

johnyboy32, I can't answer your question. mfabry, if I remember correctly, someone posted revised alignment settings for the 2002 S2000 from Honda UK. You might search the posts. I saw the fact sheet but I couldn't get a legible copy. I also remember something about roll bar changes.
Go to the Section "Under the Hood" and look up the thread "Post Your Alignment". There you will find (1) what the factory setting should be, (2) what several racer's and owner's have experimented with, and (3) what Honda of UK is now recommending for Brit owner's with '00 and '01 models - which is a change from what the factory settings were.
Anyone who feels their car has squirrelly handling, should first find out how it specs out compared to the original factory. That should always be your baseline. You should always know what the baseline is and how you compared to it. If it was wrong to begin with (and this has happened) and you change it to something else that's different, it might be better but still not as good as it could be. Secondly, for those wishing to try a different setting, assuming the factory setting is not to their liking, I would suggest trying the Brit's setting as it was developed under conditions good enough that they recommend it in their technical service bulletins.
Just my 2 cents.

I agree completely with dlq04. It seems that Honda specs their cars according to how they percieve their cars are going to be driven. We should keep that in mind before we attempt to place any "blame".
