STL, Check your PM, I sent you a link to a thread where I posted a drawing of what the dash controls look like as a whole. I think I'm more interested in hooking up the controls right now rather than gutting them. Although it might be cool to just take out the controls and replace it with another set with more functions. That way you can always put it back in when you sell.

Pinky, The sony wired remote is cool. They only have one product line of the wired remote so it will work with any sony that has an input for a wired remote. I don't know about the Alpine, but I think the sony should be very versitile.
