2001 104k original top look perfect and the window is non-yellowed and in great shape.

I use 303 and my platic rear window has cling-on tint on the outside of it.

 

i got 108k and top looks mint! except its not as black as it used to be.

No tear yet but I noticed this past week the infamous passenger side tear and I am at 20k miles. I have developed a wear spot in that area the top frame has a burr on the metal which is what causes the tear. I literally just finished smoothing it down with the dremel. I went to a local upolstrey shop and asked for a scrap piece of convertible top material and the guy gladly gave me a piece, enough for several repairs so I will be putting a patch in that spot today or tomorrow.

Seems like it is inevitable.

i had my original top until May 2009 when someone slashed my top and I had to have it replaced. Top was in good condition except for a little tiny place that was getting bigger when I put the top down. My car was 6 and half years old though. I thought I got long life from it. I hope this new top is good.

 

Top on my '00 is still good. Plastic window has some scratches, but it is clear. But in the summer, I go for months only putting the top up to wash the car.
